We got amazing value for our money at Harleyburn Cottages - Stables And Saddlery. The room was bright, clean, and beautifully furnished, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with easy access to surrounding areas and plenty of opportunities for running and walking. The staff treated us with a friendly and warm greeting, and the owner was incredibly helpful, showing us around and giving us great recommendations for local restaurants and cafes. We also appreciated the little extra touches, like the Christmas Tree in the property.
The food for breakfast could have been better, maybe by offering a wider variety or including some local specialties.

We had a fantastic stay at Harleyburn Cottages - Stables And Saddlery. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning location and warm, friendly hosts. The attention to detail in the cottage was outstanding - it was immaculate, stylish, and had everything we needed, including Netflix for cozy nights in. We were pleasantly surprised to find no midgies, allowing us to enjoy the outdoors without getting bitten. The accommodation itself was bright, airy, and well-furnished, with all the necessary equipment in the kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable and homely, and we felt like we were staying in a real home rather than a rental property. The owners were communicative and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. The private accommodation had its own parking and outside seating area, which we loved. it was a peaceful and relaxing stay in a beautiful area, and we can't wait to return.
The only small drawback was the lack of towel hooks in the bathroom or bedrooms to hang wet towels.

The location of the cottage was fantastic, with plenty of great places to visit within a short distance. The setting both inside and outside was lovely, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were very informative and provided a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival. The accommodation itself was smart, clean, and felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed to prepare meals, including a large fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, and washing machine. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and there were plenty of extra home comforts throughout the cottage. The outside space included a table, chairs, and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying the views.
One small inconvenience was the kitchen tap, which had a dripping problem and was difficult to turn off. However, this was a minor issue and did not significantly impact the overall experience.

The owner was incredibly helpful and showed me around when I arrived. The cottage had a well-equipped kitchen, but I also found some great local pubs to eat in. The Christmas Tree in the property added a nice festive touch. The communication from the hosts was excellent, providing detailed arrival information and recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location was peaceful and easy to find, with ample parking. The cottage itself was immaculate, bright, and airy, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. The garden was perfect for my dog, and the surrounding area was great for walks. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Harleyburn Cottages - Stables And Saddlery.
There was a minor issue with a dripping kitchen tap, but it didn't impact my overall enjoyment of the stay. It would have been helpful to have somewhere to hang wet towels in the bathroom or bedrooms, but again, this was a minor inconvenience.

We received a lovely email with helpful information about the area and good recommendations for nearby dining options. The location was quiet and easy to find, with convenient parking. The cottage itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a great TV and WiFi. The surroundings were perfect for running and walking, with beautiful hills and a flat route along the river.
Although our stay was mostly enjoyable, we were disappointed when it was time to leave. It would have been even better if there had been a welcome pack with instructions for the amenities.

Lovely, warm and spacious accommodation in a great area to explore. The owner was very helpful and showed us around when we arrived. Dog friendly with a well-equipped kitchen, though we found three local pubs to eat in. The location was fantastic, easily accessible and close to some great places to visit.
The kitchen tap was dripping and very hard to turn off. It wasn't the end of the world, but it was a bit annoying.
