We got amazing value for our money at Harleyburn Cottages - Stables And Saddlery. The room was bright, clean, and beautifully furnished, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with easy access to surrounding areas and plenty of opportunities for running and walking. The staff treated us with a friendly and warm greeting, and the owner was incredibly helpful, showing us around and giving us great recommendations for local restaurants and cafes. We also appreciated the little extra touches, like the Christmas Tree in the property.

The food for breakfast could have been better, maybe by offering a wider variety or including some local specialties.

We were pleasantly surprised to find no midgies, allowing us to enjoy the outdoors without getting bitten. The bedrooms were comfortable and homely, and we felt like we were staying in a real home rather than a rental property. The owners were communicative and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. The private accommodation had its own parking and outside seating area, which we loved. it was a peaceful and relaxing stay in a beautiful area, and we can't wait to return.
